Many of you probably saw the recent news that darts sensation, Luke Littler has passed his driving test and, with zero minors which is indeed, an accomplishment.
Indeed, this no doubt appeared to be something he was eager to do, though there could be those who have their doubts about his road knowledge having failed his theory six times. It is quite a year the 18-year-old is experiencing having won the World Championship, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and the UK Open.

Littler is no stranger to success having exploded onto the darts scene at the age of 16, though as far as personal accomplishments go, this is undoubtedly one he was eager to tick off his list.
Dream Car Now On The Agenda

Having passed his driving test at the first time of asking, Littler has revealed that he does have a car in mind that he wants to buy as his first.
The darts player, nicknamed “The Nuke”, revealed: “I’ve always loved a Mercedes A-Class. Just a small car. Last year I was looking at driving and I loved Ford Focuses.
“But now, I’ve gone up in the world just a little! What model? No idea. Just an A-Class. I don’t know the different models.”
For many, this is perhaps a refreshing choice, especially for someone of his resources. It is not uncommon for famous people with wealth behind them to buy flash cars, like Ferraris and Lambourghinis though this is somewhat of a modest choice.
No doubt, he will likely come under scrutiny in his local town of Warrington with many fans probably keen to see how he drives and on the lookout for his car. The fact that he passed at the first attempt and with zero minors though, is certainly a great achievement.
It is something that his advisors could plan on using as part of his brand strategy with social media possibly planned to market him in some way, while he may also appeal to automotive companies as an advertising magnet and brand ambassador.
He does have a humble personality that advertisers clearly like. Fans were part of his journey to pass his driving and theory test which he has shared on his Instagram account. Littler was refreshingly open about his failures and regularly had banter with his fans. In September, one asked whether he had passed his test yet.

“No, not yet. I did do a theory the other week but I didn’t put it on my Instagram,” Littler replied.
“…oh, it was a bad one. It was a bad one. I’ll let you know that.”
What Next For Littler?

Being on somewhat of an upward trajectory, Littler certainly has the momentum and he will no doubt be looking forward to the PDC World Darts Championship, which is hosted in December, running through until January at the Alexandra Palace.
Winning this would cap off a brilliant 2025 and set him up for what he would hope is a very productive next 12 months also, while he will also have his eye on getting the world number one spot.
There will then literally be no rest, with The Bahrain Darts Masters starting in January of which he has won previously.
Ultimately, there is no doubt that Lttler is on the road to greatness and now, literally, on the road.
